Wendy Elliott,

Senior Staff Therapist

Wendy Elliott provides counseling and expressive arts therapy services for adults, children, and adolescents. She is a NH Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Accredited Dance- Movement Therapist, and Registered Expressive Arts Therapist. She has post masters experience in the mental health field since 1982. In addition Wendy also holds a Masters degree in Organizational Development and Leadership and has worked as a consultant, facilitator, and coach since 2000.

As a mental health clinician, Wendy's experience includes working in rehabilitation medicine, stress reduction, and wellness programs, psychiatric hospitals, and outpatient practice settings. Her work is informed by over 25 years as a mindfulness practitioner as well as her extensive study and practice in the fields of positive psychology, appreciative inquiry, cognitive-behavioral approaches and narrative therapy.

Wendy's specialty is working with people who suffer from depression, anxiety, grief and loss. She has a particular interest in adult identity issues including life transitions that manifest in shifting relationships, career, and family.

Wendy is known for her expertise in guiding her clients to listen, embody, and act from their authentic selves. Her enthusiasm for approaching difficult issues as opportunities for growth comes from her deep belief in our ability to draw on the human resources of courage, compassion, and wisdom. She is a mother of two young adults.
