Leela is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and received her Master’s degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University in Colorado. Leela draws from a variety of counseling theories, providing a holistic approach designed to meet your unique needs. She offers both brief solution-focused therapy as well as longer term in-depth personal exploration. She currently provides therapy to adults, teens, families and couples and strongly believes in the capacity for change and growth. Her gentle approach helps clients gain personal empowerment to access solutions and gain tools toward healing.

Leela’s areas of specialty include: depression and anxiety, trauma and abuse, relationships/communication, adolescent issues, life transitions and spiritual exploration. Leela provides a supportive atmosphere, and in addition to talk therapy, she offers methods such as expressive arts, body centered inquiry, mindfulness, guided imagery and dream analysis. Leela has also provided intensive therapy to adolescents who were in residential treatment for severe emotional and behavioral difficulties.
